I am wondering how to tell if my cars a obd0 or whatever. i know i will get flammed on for this so FLAME ON! Can someone post how i can tell or a faq showing pls. i have tried searching and cant find crap on this subject

What year model car you have? On the passenger side, underneath the carpet/floorboard is your ecu, what kind is it? (read the numbers on the tag/sticker on its side)

 

I have a 91 honda accord lx i was wondering if there was like a faq write up detailing what year civic hatchs have certain obd1 setups etc. i hope that makes sense im very new to all this and planning on purchasing a hatchback to take to the dragstrips and have fun with.

so if anyone knows of one or can explain how to findout pls get back to me id really appreciate it

its 3am ill get back with the numbers etc of the ecu just figured maybe u could tell me by make/model of the car

its a obdo 92 and up is where obd1 started and obd2 starts in 96 i belive it may not be thou

 

awesome so obd0 ill have to peel the carpet back from the passenger floorboard and watch for the flashing red light underneath it correct? or will it display on the dashboard?
