Rear strut bolt is seized
Well, I was in the middle of trying to do my rear disk conversion and the driver's side bolt is seized. I have tried hammering, chiseling, and I broke a c-clamp trying to press the bolt out. These are my options now.
l could cut the bolt. Does anyone know if a Dremel will cut through it? Does dremel make a big enough cutting wheel to do? If not, is there a cutting tool I could buy that would work?
Put everything back together and get a shop to remove it (really would hate to do this to say the least).
Man, it is always something.

get a Oxy-acetalene(sp?) torch and heat up the back of the spindel. Then give the bolt a good whack with a big hammer and that should crack the rust loose. Or heat it up to a nice cherry red and spray it with water. That usuially shocks the rust loose.
I think I may try heat with a torch and then cold water to break the rust loose. I am just scared I might melt the rubber. Just to be clear I got the nut off of the bolt it's just the bolt is stuck inside the knuckle. How long to you guys usually heat up something to break rust loose?
