hey guys i got my civic running and i noticed it was leaking oil and water
so i changed the head gasket and water pump*188.XXX miles same pump*
and now my cart wont start
now for what i think might be the solution
1.i jumped teeth on timing belt now timing is off*i am a fool i didnt mark the belt so i didnt know where to put it back*
2.water got in my Compresion chamber and my motoro is now seized

now for a nother set of problems my water pump is leaking *yes it has the gasket*
is it possible to put my gasket up side down cus i think i am still leaking oil

Yes there's a up side on the gasket... I would say your problems are more likely that your head has warped. Take it to a machine shop and have em surface the head back flat. Make sure the finish is shiny, almost like a mirror, should be quite smooth. If it's pretty rough, they didn't surface it correctly.

Did you put hondabond around the water pump and torque it down right?

as for the bond actuly i didnt where can i get that at??
oh wich is the up side the one with the prints and all the writing??

 

 

U can get it from the dealership, or u can buy some permatex gray RTV, it says its for imports and stuff. That stuff works just fine. Make sure everything is clean tho.

Been a while since I looked but the head gasket has part of the top layer that has the words UP stamped out of the metal. If yours is like the soft grey gasket, not some multi-layered metal gasket, send that back and get the multi layered metal one. Once again, get ur head surfaced since thats more likely your problem there.
