Ok, so it was rainning today and so went to the store and got some things, and the way back i wanted to do a little burnout, so i rev it below 4k and let the clutch out and the wheels started spinning then i went to 2nd gear right away and like the car wasnt going, the wheels werent spinning but the rpms were at like 4k.....is cause the clutch is sliping.....sometimes i remember last year it happen when rev it almost to redline (didnt know any better) in 1st gear and it did the same thing, wheels werent spinning but it was reving....yes i know burnouts are pointless but i just want to know whats going on with the car

 

could u smell the clutch?

U probaly need a new clutch... How many miles on the car?

 

hmmm......i never really didnt smell it.......car has 60,015 miles on it.....but the clutch works fine on dry ground

 

Stop beating on your car. The stock clutches in the 7th gens suck and can't take any abuse.

 

ok so the answer to my question it that the clutch is slipping.....im not beating im just curious whats going on
