no kidding??

there is a glass conversion but it looks pretty hard to me. best bet is to buy an oem 02+ top and install. there are some aftermarket ones on ebay and other places that are just as good as oem quality. Or you could hardtop ftw.

sometimes your plastic can be cleaned with some 303 plastic cleaner.

first of all, you can't just slap a 02+ top onto 00-01 frame, there's structural difference between the two and it will not work.

the most popular glass conversion is to use the "ribbon/rabbon brand"(sp) top, which will fit without altering the frame of the 00-01

and before you do that, bring it to a interior shop, they can buff out yellowing and haze for 90 percent of the time. it's a half an hour work with a rotary buffer and clear plastic cleaner/polish.

too bad you are half the world away or i can give you a hand on that

just making sure no one buying a 700 rag top and end up getting 1000+ frame for a piece of glass in the rear

The top's brand is Robbins.

Meguiar's scratch X, or the System One polish I use, along with a high speed air buffer will take out the haze/yellow/scratches.
