i read the faqs it said nothing about the ls fitting or not fitting into the hatch i was thinking of also dropping a dohc zc into what would you guys say about that a jdm obd0 dohc zc or a usdm obd0 b18??
the JDM OBD0 DOHC ZC will bolt right into the 88-91 Civic/CRX with only some wiring changes required - the wiring changes needed is determined by the model of the car the engine is going into - the 93 LS engine will require purchasing a mount kit, axles and shift linkage - since the 93 is OBD1, you would need to either convert the engine to OBD0 or convert the car to run OBD1 - the B18A engine and transmission will weigh approximately 100 lbs more than the ZC, which kind of negates the slight horsepower difference between the 2 engines

from the factory manual for the B16A which weighs pretty close to the same as a B18:

from the factory manual for the D16A8/A9 which is the same as the DOHC ZC:

add to that the difference in the transmissions plus the added intermediate shaft, which together is a little over 30 lbs and you get close to 100lbs (i dif say approximately) - having done dozens of both ZC and B-series swaps and weighing some of the cars both before and after, i can tell you for a fact that 100 lbs. is pretty close
