B18 swap into crx probs.
I just bought a 90' CRX DX w/ a B18a1 swap. The CRX had the stock D15 in it, until he swapped this motor in it, that was in already in a Civic hatchback. My question is, would it be easier to just get the B18a1 wiring harness for the Integra ECU and Resistor box, than to just mess with splicing everything in like everyone goes on about like the MPFI conversion and such.. There's alot of plugs and hoses that I can't figure out where they go. And i'm even unsure about the clutch cable, if the stock one will work w/ the LS tranny that's in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
use the resistor box and ecu. the harness wont work. you can send that one and the one fron your car to hasport or somebody to have one made so it will be plug and play. the mpfi is not hard and you can find step by step instructions. try http://www.4gcivic.net
also the clutch cable will work but the thottle cable from the integra will work. you'll need the rear mount bracket, axles, linkage, halfshaft, and dont lose those 3 bolts there 6$ a piece at the dealership
I've got the axles, mounts, and i'm gonna cut the linkage down 1" to fit, it has the right mounts, but the one onthe left side, the guy didn't do itright or something it's crooked,, doesn't look right

just look at the shock tower connectors and you should be able to tell why

ive lost count of the swaps ive done but to answer the question, NO the teg harness wont work. connectors are at different places , many differences. i mean, sure you can make it work .. if you wanna basically rebuild a harness .
I'm needing some help here guys. On Hasport they have what i need listed as part EFDX-SI for that harness. But on the wiring installation instructions.. it doesn't talk about the PR4 ecu which is required for my swap. And it doesn't even talk about the resistor box.

i say rebuild your harness if your going to want to save on money. i rebuilt my integra harness to fit my crx and its really not that complicated. the only thing is that you have to soelder everything. beacuse a good connection is key. the only part that was hard was figuring out how to bring the sensor connections that went to the driver side of the integra go to the passenger side of the crx.
