i need to know what year or model civics the longer blue plug was used in the dash harness. this is for a 92-95 civic. i have a floor harness with the longer plug and now i need a dash harness to match. i am talking about the blue plug that sits atop the fuse box. here is a pic of the 2 dif ones

i need the one on the left.

The 92-95 dash harness uses the longer ( bigger one )

 

not all of them b/c i have one with the smaller plug that is a 92-95.

From my understanding, there all the same. I have a 94si, and I bought a ex harness and its the same. Not sure what to tell you then. Maybe you bought a vx harness ? You try looking in the manual to see what the plug is for exactly ? I never had to look so I could not tell you.

SI, and EX models have them. I would say the odd models, like a cx or vx have the smaller plug.

 

the plug is connected to the floor harness that goes to the back of the car.

That goes to what though ? I mean, lights ? Then I would say its the model that does not have a third brake light, I don't know, just guessing now.

it looks like radio wires. speakers, mabe also the defrost
