Default mufflers on crx

will a muffler from a 91 si fit a 91 dx? they are two different part #s but i figured it might just be because the si has the double pipe.

just the muffler, the stock one. i just want to know if the dimensions are the same or if the si has longer pipes or anything. i don't want to mess with welding or rigging stuff, i just want it to look clean. there is a flange near the rear wheels, i plan to replace from there back to the tip.

Yes. CRX (and Civic hatchback) mufflers are interchangeable for all trim levels.

That is correct. The part number is different because the Si has two outlets while the DX has one.

just for reference you can put a 4 door one on as well, my beaters muffler fell off and there was a brand new axle back on a 4 door at the junk yard, it bolts on fine and all hangers line up you just have to cut about a foot of pipe off the end so it doesnt stick out past the bumper
