'03 Civic 1.7 hard to start or stalling at lights
Hey everyone!
Today the wife's 2003 Civic LX stalled at a light (low on gas, but light not on). She filled it up and parked it. An hour or so later it was hard to start, but it did and then it hesitated again. I swapped cars with her and drove it and it only dropped idle at a light once for a second. I put in ISO-Heet and Techron into the tank and drove it home home (1/2hr away).
Parked car for an hour, came back out, it took 3 tries to start. I added "Seafoam" to the tank. It seems fine now, but I'm going to check the plugs and see if they're bad. Otherwise, I'm thinking about the replacing the fuel filter/fuel pump assembly.
The car has 86K on it.
What do you all think?

Well, I put new plugs in, it ran like champ for 5 miles, stuttered twice at 55 mph ran another minute and then just shut off while I was driving. It hasn't started since.
I guess I'll be testing the pressure on the rails tomorrow and, most likely, changing the fuel pump at the restaurant that I coasted into.
It's an '03 with 86K. There is no warranty.
