CEL /ECU Light is solid
I have a 1990 CRX Si, and when I turn the car to the "on" position, I have a CEL and the light on my ECU is solid. Everyone I ask says that my ECU is bad, but I got another PM6 out of a running CRX Si, and plugged it in. The light on the new ECU is still solid.
I'm not getting any spark when I try to crank it over, either.
Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone before?
Me and all my friends are at a loss, so any suggestions would be amazing.
Thanks a lot.

you dont need to worry about that. Unplugging the ECU and plugging it back in works the same as pulling the battery/fuse. And you are already doing that.
I would go with what you are already going to do by checking the wires

The ECU is fine, it was from a running car.

Its not chipped, just a stock PM6
So far I've found a couple broken wires on the harness, so I'm connecting those back.
Anything else anyone can think of?

check your main relay.
when you turn the key to the on position the check engine light comes, you'll hear the main relay click ( turn on) which is activating the fuel pump in order to pressurize the fuel system. it'll do this for like 5 seconds then the check engine light turns off and so does the main relay. if the check engine light turns right back on or just stays on its usually the main relay. it is locate behind above the hood release lever. open it up look for cracked solder joints. if you find any just touch 'em up but sometimes you just gotta get a new or good used relay.
