that's what mines sounds like. it reminds me of an aftermarket fuel pump sound. i dont mind them hummm.
All aftermarket mods result in a gain of some sort and a loss of some kind. You wanted more power, now you have a noise from the intake. Its normal. My car makes a buncha noises that I have grown to get used to now.
Well, this is a humming, not a hissing. I've installed intakes on other cars and do notice the hissing sound on idle. Out of curiosity, I reinstalled the stock intake without the cover and the same humming is there!
Still annoying, but I don't hear it much in the cabin. Thanks.

there's a deformed plastic molded box, that suppose to cancel the noise, since you are running aftermarket, then the N million dollar honda spend on R&D and tuning with the stock air box is gone
it's nothing to be scare of, it's normal for aftermarket intake
