Default painting the engine bay.

Ok first off my car is primered, but im okay with that since im going to be getting into road racing soon. heres a few pics.

i really like this color green that i have the car now, but when i pop my hood to stare at my motor swap (lol) i cant stand the crap condtion of the pain in the engine bay.

i've seen that a lot of people are spraying their engine bays black (regaurdless of the color of the car) so i've been thinkin about doin this, just not sure. i would just be tapping everything up, because im not gonna pull the motor out, just cover it up and hit the bay with a spray can.

or

i could hit the engine bay with the same color green that the car is, just the primer. what do you guys think would look best??

nah, its pretty easy, just take anything bulky out like the intake manifold, header, radiator, intake, strut bar, drop the suspension and pull the battery. then start tappin everything off. oh yeah and the headlights, and my HID ballasts. i think it should be okay.

Black would go good with the color, and look soooo much better. DO IT!

Just remove everything off the firewall that you can, tape and paper the rest.

for all that work, you could have just taken the motor out.

Black is universal...if you decide to actually paint your car, then it would still look nice with the black bay.
