Default grill for 05

i ordered a type-r grill the other day and im kinda havin second thought about it and thinkin i should make a custom one... does anyone know how much a stock grill costs?? i mean just the plastic piece thats painted the color of ur car? cuz i kinda wanna paint my stock one and get some custom mesh and just cut and fit my own grill... any opinions?

well i seen a few people fit a 01-03 plain grill without the emblem on a 04-05 civic it looks hot,you can get the grill on ebay. i think im going to try it.heres what it looks like.but do you have a pic of the one you ordered. or

thanks^

i use to just have mesh and it looked half ***, and this is the best we can do...so i run it and yeh there are gaps, but what am i gonna do?

so if your gonna go custom just pick up one of these and use it as a start...

the 01 grill doesnt fit on my car... i already tried.. there were big gaps on the sides and none of the holes for the clips lined up

yeah, I'm really feeling the blank grill. when I had my bumper off to work on the head lights, I put it back on without the grill and it was hot, i just didn't like the big gaping hole that it left.
