will a obd1 integra engine harness fit into a 97 civic ex
im doing a obd1 b16 swap on my 97 civic ex. i need to to know if i can use a obd1 gsr engine harness and connect it to the cars ob2
you might need some slight modification but i am not sure, dont remember when i did my friends, any one else know
The Integra harness can't connect to anything on the Civic. The Integra harness is two piece, while the Civic is one piece.
then can i use the the existing obd2 harness in my ex to connect to obd1 altenator and distributor of the b16 or do i need to modify it
NO you can not use a 94-01 integra engine harness on an 96-00 CIVIC!! without massive modifications
if you use your current harness it all depends on what engine you put in your car....
you need to convert your engine to obd2....really is the easest thing to do

actually...the easiest way is to look for OBD1:
-injector plugs
-distributor plugs
-alternator plugs
-and a few others
u will be useing ur stock harness with obd1 plugs...obd2 harness on an obd1 engine...then u should find a jumper harness in order to use an obd1 ecu with ur obd1 engine...when u purchase ur jumper harness look for OBD2(car) to OBD1(ecu)...
the ex harness is the best bet for your new engine...

I have a ECU(OBD2A-OBD1) conversion harness $50, and i am paypal verified holla at me. If you do what cvc2n469 said you WILL NOT need this conversion harness unless you are going to tune it or some other ****.
