Default OT: Time for a house..

Its been a while since I really posted in here. That being said, some of you may remember me trying to decide between purchasing a home, or renting. I ended up renting a home with a VERY nice garage. That being said, and with a lease renewal looming, I have decided to purchase a home. It is one I actually looked at 1.5 years ago. Its a very small home (the reason it has not sold), but is perfect for me, a bachelor.

It is a very small 2 bed 1 bath house, but has a 2 car garage and a large work room area (enough to store a 3rd car). A huge plus is that the garage has its own separate heating a cooling system, so it is climate controlled. I found out today that my bid was accepted.

As some of you may know, I am running a business. I had a storefront for a short time, and was in the process of financing a dynapack dyno. I had issues with my partner, and unable to get the dyno. I do, however, do tuning in the Pittsburgh area still. For appointments and pricing just call Mythias Racing toll-free
at 888-701-8893. /Shameless Plug.

Congrats on the new place bro .
Shame on you for the plug

I was curious how would you do tuning without the dyno, street tune I'd be guessing ?
Good luck bro.

Sounds like a plan!

Unfortunately for me, anything close enough to work is way out my price range, so I spent some of that back pay (more than I'd expected), fixing up the car for Expo 7 and to eventually hire a tax attorney.

That garage seems ideal!

If you expect to resell, they it may be a pain because most people want 3BR 1.5+ bath. If you are getting it for a GREAT deal then it may be a good idea, but just remember to not only think of the present but think of near future. My wife and I do not have children or don't expect any, anytime soon, but we made sure we bought in a good school district for resell purposes.

As for resell, I am not too concerned about my choice despite the small size of the home. The University keeps gobbling up land and houses in town to make room for its expansion, and property values keep going up because of it. Also, there are regulations regarding student housing which prevents any of the homes near me from becoming student housing and lowering property values. As for the local school district, it is ranked in the top 100 in the nation.
