integra type r vs. sentra se-r??
have any of you guys ever raced one of those newer sentra se-rs? my friend has a 2003 sentra se-r and is really confident and cocky about beating my type r. his mods are: Intake, Exhaust, header. my mods are the same. he says he will smash gsrs and even type rs. what do you think?

it may be an alright race.each motor varies, some are stonger than others, goes for both, odds are if you have a well maintained, low mileage R you should have no problem walking him

i raced a swapped ser motor into a older model sentra supposedly lighter and walked on it no problem. i think it was like at least 5 cars.
this was when my car was bone stock with about 30k on it. now it has 40k.

You're talking about straight line racing, but here's more info for your buddy: When the new Spec V's came out they were put in the same SCCA autocross class as the ITRs (D Stock).
Autocross has at least as much to do with handling as it does straight line acceleration, but after a couple years of not being able to keep up, the Spec V's were moved to the slower G Stock class, where the gsr and rsx-s run.
