Default black top or blue top?

so im doing a t3 turbo build sometime in the future and im slowly gathering parts. i won injectors listed on ebay as "1G DSM 240cc Injectors"

i got the injectors and 2 are blue top and 2 are black top, are they different? are 240cc even any good for a turbo build? are they even 240 cc? did i waste my money?

they only cost me around 16$ after shipping

discription of auction:
You are bidding on a used set of 1G DSM injectors. These injectors are 240cc High Impedance injectors and great to turbo (small turbo) your Honda civic crx integra or any other. It will also work with Celicas, nissans and others. Some modifications are required. These are also great to increase the flow if you are doing Nitrous or other modifications that require you to have more fuel in the system.

There is no reserve on this item. Great for upgrading D16 B16 B18 LS-vtec Vtec engines and many others. Injectors out of a 4G63 Engine.

Built NA motors use 310cc so for a turbo build you need to be over that IMO

Nothin like good 'ol mystery injectors to put a damper on a build.

There are certain things you cannot cut corners on. One of them is injectors.

both the black top and blue top injectors have the #'s n240h and 1np-059 on them

i think that both are 450's they are from different generations. you have to run a resistor box and modify the dsm clips. you can find out for sure on homemadeturbo.com

i used the black dsm because they are the newer updated version of the blue tops. Blacks have a better spray pattern

Get some pictures up of them, if they were listed as 240cc then I would say thats what they are but you may have got lucky...

DSM Blue tops are 1G 450cc
DSM Black tops are 2G 450cc
DSM Tan Tops are 310cc
DSM Pin Tops are 240cc

Thats what I have always gone by but there is a chance that there are exceptions, get them flow tested and clean then you'll know what they are

I though you were doing a T25 kit?

I believe that sabb/volvo turbo you showed me a few months back or whatever was a T25...

Ignore the injector plug colors thats what you are thinking are the tops...the top of those injectors are pink they are the non-turbo 240cc injectors...your stock injectors are 240cc also...

Why buy 240cc injectors when your stock ones are 240cc?

Spend money wisely and invest in proper injectors.

Dude throw that **** in the garbage can, and chalk it up as a cheap lesson to do your research BEFORE you buy. 240cc is what b engines come with stock. The “blue and black tops” in your pick are the injector clips.
H-T Chappie already told you black tops are newer and are also known as 2nd gen
The blue tops are the first gen and of course are older. The KEY to both is the fact that they are 450CC injectors.450cc will max out around 300whp here is a pic of mine installed, notice the top of the injector bodies are BLUE not the clips, hence they are 1st Gen DSM 450cc low impedance (need resister box) injectors.
