Default how true is this?

What's CA what do you mean are they CA farings?....

CA = California im pretty sure CA fairings make room for a larger catlytic converter. are these fairings from a california bike?

... is this true?

CA bikes are different due to emissions. I didn't think this meant their fairings were different.

Where's the context for this question? Are you looking at fairings or something?

Because I'm selling black fairings to this guy and he asked me that. I was like what? I don't think they have different fairings either, but that's what he said

I've never heard of this, but I guess it is possible. Maybe the CA bikes are have larger exhaust collectors (where the 4 pipes merge into one at the bottom of the header) due to a catayltic convertor being there?

I think on the 600RR, the lower on non-CA bikes rubs on the CA exhaust.

That was the problem with my buddy's 600RR when he bought race plastics.

On a CA bike, the lowers do not connect because of the emissions bs and whatnot. On a 49 state bike, they connect at the bottom. You can use CA lowers on any bike but the 49 state ones will only work if you have removed all the emissions junk and possibly a different exhaust. Even with CA lowers, my full exhaust still melted the right lower.

The DMV doesn't require your bike to have the emissions stuff installed.
