Default hmmmm ZC engine info needed

well i have a 1990 SOHC ZC engine in my 1990 civic SI right now and i need to replace an axle but i cannot find a sohc zc axle for the life of me..so i have a few questions as i have heard different things from different people.

does a civic SI tranny bolt directly to a SOHC ZC engine? if so are there any complications?

also, are there any axle's that will match up with a 1990 SOHC zc? i have tried usdm integra axle, civic yadda yadda yadda and nothing seems to work.

all help is greatly appretiated

yes the 88-91 Si tranny will bolt up to a SOHC ZC motor without any issues. I always thought that the 90-91 CRX Si axles would work just fine in the zc tranny but if you've tried and it doesn't work then maybe not?

i was on the phone will acura alot and they didnt even mention trying the crx si.... personally i have never dealt with a zc, i just bought a civic with the zc in it about a week ago, all my experience has been with b-series.

has anyone ever tried a 90-91 crx si axle in the zc tranny? if so info would be awsome, thanks stevescivic also!

EVERYTHING is the same as an Si unless the transmission has the intermediate shaft. If it does not, then its the same damn thing as an Si.

And, the SOHC ZC is identical as far as swapping parts as the D16A6.

They are the same motor, inside and out, as far as parts interchanging.

well as far as i know it is a sohc zc tranny, but i did not do the swap so i do not know forsure. that was just what i was told. well we tried the si axle and it was not long enough...we got a 1990 usdm integra axle and it fit ok, a little short at first but after 2 days the inner boot stretched wwaaayyy out to the point of almost ripping
