Default Ken's Kustom Chassis Brake Master Cylinder...on a street car?

I came across this:

http://www.kenskustomchassis.c...s.htm

Based on the page their ultralight Brake MC eliminates the brake booster. Now how will this affect braking if this were to be placed on a street car? Will it make it dangerous to drive or just make it harder to press down on the brake pedal?

Anyone running one of these?

is that cylinder big enough for stock sized calipers? and no you will have no assist. pull the vac line off the booster, plug it and drive it. thats what it would be like roughly.

yo uave to make sure the kens cylinder has enough volume to actuate your calipers. they may be made to work with specific calipers.

The rest of the previous posts here on HT about the KKC BMC doesn't really state a solid answer whether if this will make the car streetable.

A lot of the guys who run them claim that the car stops fine, but still...it's not the answer that I'm after.

my guess is its for drag cars with little brakes that are using a chute to mainly slow themselves down. not only the brakes. i couldnt see that being very practicle for daily driving. i drove a car without power brakes and it was a pain in the ***.

Let us know...I'd to hear some firsthand feedback from someone who actually has it on their car.

okay i finally got mine installed. got all the fittings and steel braid hose needed. put it in and the brakes were dragging... kind of a pain to adjust it correctly (you have to take all 4 bolts off to get enough room to adjust that end blue fitting!!) but it seems to stop okay now its adjusted with no dragging, you have to press a little harder but nothing like having the stock master with no brake booster.. (i ran that and its hard as hell to stop!) pm me if you need some help with the fittings and such to run front and rear brakes. this master only has one outlet so you need some fittings to tee it off.

and if it doesnt stop you always have the ebrake

I have it on my drag car as well, last year I never had a problem with it and didn't have use a shoot. It is stiffer then stock with assist but not that difficult to stop at all. I would run it on the street if I were doing a radical car for the street but I'm lazy and like my power assist.
