Don't take this the wrong way, but i'd find away for some additional support for those wastegates. All that weight vibrating causes cracks almost every time at the wg to collector weld. The further the gates are from the collector, the more likely it is to happen. I've had 1 of mine break there, and seen tons of others do the same.

Looks good. I'm curious as to why such a long header. Big turbo small engine long manifolds don't exactly help when you need heat and velocity to make a turbo happy. But good to see another privateer honda hotrod.

I looked through all my pics, i only have before pics. Kinda hard to explain how i did it. I don't see a brace on the manifold, and it's definitely going to need one, so they can probably incorporate something into that brace to support the wastegates.

I THINK the second WG was welded to that mani by Joe S. I could be wrong though, he did one for him last year added a 2nd gate cuz of boost creep I think. Unless they changed manifolds which I know Mike was in the process of doing also

Looking good Mike and Aaron.

To answer a few questions.

It does not use a stock oil systems so oil draining back to the turbo wont be a problem.

The trans is for mock up. The trans thats going in is a liberty 4 speed with bell housing.

We will be bracing the manifold and wastegates.

Burns gave us the length for the runners they are a little longer than what they recommended but sould be fine. The manifold is made out of 321 ss.

Thanks for the support see yall at the track soon.

if you look, the clutch pedal has a master cyl on it. the cable trans is probably there for mock up purposes. i know Mike has a special trans on the way.

Wow, my crew chief made a post. Thanks for the love folks I'll have more pics closer to completion next week. We actually got a lot of **** done today, looks different than the pictures posted by Mr. Brown. I'm sure he saw it and snapped a few when he got back to the chassis shop.
