Default 6speed ITR tranny???

hey .. ive never checked the ITR forum... but I found something interesting .. (to me .. at least..) and maybe you guys will check it out.... on Ebay.. I found a 6speed ITR transmission ...is that true.. possible?.. or is that normal.. cuzz I though they only come with 5grear LSD..

Dude thats a DC5 K20 ITR transmission known to the US as an RSX

There is a DC2 6 speed. But be prepared to pay around 10k for one.

Interesting... I had always wondered why you could buy a 6-speed transmission for the DC-2 ITR in Gran Turismo 2 (or maybe it was 3). Is this a modified OEM transmission or completely aftermarket?

i think what they do is take the OEM tranny and take the reverse synchro out and replace it with a 6th gear.

correct me if im wrong.

lol i think that's impossible.. but i heard you need to lose your reverse to get 6th gear but.. ya.

There is no synchro for reverse

better. but a lil slower. but more reliable for track.

fast but will get high oil pressure and oil temps.
