Default RWD CIVIC??

What would yall recommend for the tranny for this project, the awd crv tranny and just remove the half shafts, and if that were the case would i get the full 100 percent rwd with that or not...or is there possibly another tranny out there that i could use? i did some research and so far i have come up with nothing but the awd crv tranny. thanks

PS: trying to stay with a b series, even if i have to turn the engine

turn the engine, put in an adapter housing and a rwd tranny, custom ds and rear end to go with the tranny.... oh wait, you have to make sure that the tranny turns the same direction as the engine or you'll have 5 reverse gears and 1 forward... almost not worth all the effort imo... just buy a rwd car.

Turn the engine and run a TH400.

Does it have to be FR, how about MR?

Mid-engine integra

There was F20c powered, RWD EK on here somewhere too.. but my search skills are weak.

I wanted a b series becase seing one of those turned sideways seems to be a tad more impressive to me..., yea i want it to be FR, I want to drift it and MR cars catch alot more understeer.

Where could i find an addaptor case? for an s2k tranny?? possibly make my own an d have it machined??

Thanks

yeah, you'd have to machine it.
The CRV trannies are weak. I wouldn't waste any time on it.
The adaptor would have to be custom made, I'm sure. Not too tough.Just gotta come up with a clutch/flywheel.throw out bearing combo that works.
What is your plan for the rear diff? Solid axle, independent, wagovan tailing arms?
