for now i'll just have a b20 running stock. I'll have to save up for a b16 head for now.

use the stock sohc harness. depending on the year of the motor the knock sensor will or wont plug up but it dosent matter once you chip your computer the comp. wont look for that sensor. if you go b20-v then just run the 2 wires foe vtec! thats what i did in my eg and i had a b16. if you get eng.mgmt. in the future you can always wire in a knock sensor easy! or get an integra ls or gsr harness. oh yeah you ll need a non vtec obd1 distributor.
did your motor come with the dizzy, injectors, alternator. is so if its the obd-2 stuff just get a 96-98 LS harness and plug it all up, then it plugs right up to the shock towers. and just run a odd-1 p75 integra LS ecu.
If everything is obd-1, use a 94-95 integra LS harness

no you dont. you can run everything in the engine bay obd-2 and the ecu obd-1 and it will run fine, no problems. i did this with customers swaps all the time

well I'm not very well informed about OBD's so i don't know the differences.
but I do know that the fuel injectors don't plug in , cause my old one has a little metallic clip. and the new motor is now just a plug.
the motor came with manifolds and dizzy but no alternator.

B20A chief
To the OP:
Use your civic harness. You can swap over your obd1 injectors, theyre all 240cc so it doesnt matter.
If the b20 has an alt, trade if for an obd1 and be done
If you really just want to spend the money on another harness, a 96-98 d16y7 harness will work fine - just redo the wiring from 3-wire IACV to 2-wire and call it a day
