i have a 95 civic ex turbo !!! so i was driving and everything is fine wen i got to da stop light and went to stop da car shut off and it wouldnt start back up !!! can anyone help me out !! i cannot figure out wats wrong with it !!

 

haha bummer! jk more info please! does it turn over? check fuel and spark.. make sure the battery is connected ..

it turns over is not da battery it just wont start put new plugs in fuel pressure is fine ....

 

i check for compression it seems fine !!! the car tries to start but it just doesnt !!! ????? running out of ideas !!

 

do you get spark

 

i believe so am gona work on da car tomorrow again puttin my distributor back on ill check again and make sure it is throwing spark ..

Well you want to check for spark for sure... if your not getting spark theres an ICM in the distributor that went bad on my 93 Si and I had to replace the distributor. Check your ignition fuse under the hood and under the dash you may have blew one, that will cut spark. Did you possibly jump time? you may want to take a look at that... but the car was running fine previous to this red light im assuming?

 

check for spark if good, and 100% sure fuel pump is working check to see if injectors are opening, noid light or test light will work.. get back if nothing helps u.. what are the condtion of the plugs

 

if its not spark problems then fuel bro. have you checked your fuel filter? if its not throwing spark then it has to be the dizzy...

 

ok did u make sure u grounded all yur wires? i left that valve cover ground off by . accident on my swap.. blew the crank sensor. car wouldnt start. had to get a new dizzy. if yur cam gear is exposed make sure that u didnt jump the timing. or just make sure yur rotor is spinning. check all yur fuses. u may have blew one.
