P28 for a DOHC?????

Default P28 for a DOHC?????

Big question Now I Know you can make a P28 work with a DOHC!!! But what do you have to do to it???? My buddy Is sick for this DOHC V-TEC!!! He has seen how my B17 runs, and now he wants a DOHC.. HELP????

you have to have the ecu chipped to run dohc. you can buy chips that can be tuned on, and/or have a dohc map already written onto them.

You cant really just "buy" one unless you buy an egay one and have it all messed up.

Have someone who knows what they are doing to chip the ECU and burn a basemap. Look to spend are 60-80$ to have it chipped.

uh...no, thats not what you have to do, i guess you could, but you can also just buy a jumper for his OBD0 so it will convert to a p28 OBD1. thats what im doing soon, OBD1 is a better ECU, has more options etc. etc.

You can just plug a P28 ecu onto a B series it will run it, it will run it fine, but you won't get the full potential of the engine until you get it either chipped or get the proper ecu.

Contact CRX Toad on here for chipping info.

OK the motor is OBD 0 We are going to run it off a P28 a jumper isn't the prob.......


But is a first gen B16 from what I know this is what we will need...

Obd 1 injectors

4 wire o2

and a good tune Sound about Right???????
