Would you take this deal considering my life atm?
Alright so I was a mission motorsports today because they called me back from the other day that I went in to check out the 2007 CBR600RR WHITE and see what I can get financed. So anyways I was down there and they really wanted to sale like always. So anyways were working out **** and hes like you have 2 opts.
A
310 a month for 72 months at 18%
B
170 a month for 24 months
So I was talking to the finance guy and my friend who works there. The finance guy is blah blah blah and I was like so wait how much is the total bike cost. Hes like 12k out the door. I then was like wtf no way go find out what you can do about the price I want it for like 10,5k out the door. So he goes talks to his manager and gets it down to 10,999 I still didnt like it so I said Ill come back I have to think about it so he said no wait what do you want I want this sale today if possible. So I said I want payments about 250 and the total bike cost 10,5. He goes away for a little and comes back 10,698 he says all he can do and het got the payments to 278. I was like alright sounds good but I want to think about it over night and I ask to see the bike and he starts it and i rev it a little and stuff sounds good. So I said I really want to think about it over night because I still owe on my last bike. So then he says my manager said what do you want because we want the sale today what will it take. So i said if you get it for 270 a month and 10,5 I would take it I didnt think they would get it because all the sales guys were like they never let one go for less then 10,8. So he comes back for the last time and says alright bro time to sign the paper. 10,560 for the bike with 270 a month. I was like **** dude i dono if I should do it. So its a damn good deal since Im 20 years old witha credit score of 650.
So heres my concern:
Old bike r6 that I sold I still owe 4 grand. 150 a month for that and its 22%.
I just got witha temp to hire agency and its only one week in I get 22 and hour. but if they dont hire me its still not that much money a month just wont be able to pay it off as fast.
I owe 500 on my credit card which is nothing but im just throwing it out there.
so is it a good deal?

oh and yeah, i remember you posting your 6 up for sale 'cause you couldn't afford it.

why dont you trade in the r6 and have them pay it off, unless you wanted to keep it.
also a 17% rate is crazy, tell them that you want a lower way lower rate try something in the 8-9% range. that will lower your mo. payment.
higher rate is just another way for the dealership to make more money on the back end of the sale.

ya i had the r6 and couldnt pay it because i lost my job. and that was a part time job and i was going to school so I didnt make that much. I sold the r6 for 7500 cash :/ and i bought it for way to much like 11something bah got owned. I live in orange county so prices are high on bikes.
1. Don't buy a bike while you're still paying off another bike
2. Don't buy a bike when you have credit card debt
3. Don't buy a bike when you don't have a job
4. Don't pay a dime over $9999OTD for a 07600rr, learn to shop around. la cycle sports ADVERTISES this price and many places will beat it. You got taken on your R6 don't let it happen again.

not a sound financial decision.
also, i wouldn't finance through model finance, because at 17% for 72 months, you're paying over 6000 in interest. that's 60% of the bike. and that's on a simple interest 17% loan, which doesn't seem like the loan you're getting. in fact, 270/mo for 72 months is over 19000 which means you're buying 2 bikes and only getting one.
finance the bike with a loan through a different lender. I don't have great credit and Capital One gave me a much lower rate, simple interest, no prepay penalties, which is heaps better than the loan offer you just got.
i also don't think you should buy the bike. Pay off the 4k before even thinking about financing a new bike. in the meantime, if you MUST have a bike, save money and pay cash for a cheaper used bike, and then get a 07 600rr for $7000 in a years time.

jesus...17%...22%....might as well buy on a damn credit card....at least that way you dont have to pay for full converage insurance...****!!!
when i got my loan for my duc, i was paying 4%!!!

Your getting in WAYYYYY over your head man. It's not that great of a deal, and you really should pay off that other bike first. This will help you in the long run, plus if you have a good credit from paying off the last bike you might be able to do better than 18% i rate. My advice: The best things in life are worth waiting for.
Yeah, dude, not a good financial decision, especially without solid employment. Just get something used and cheaper if you're really itching to ride, who cares if it's not the newest shiniest "oh **** he's got that" bike, just enjoy the ride.

I don't know, must be a California thing? In GA, I've heard people mention 07RR with OTD prices below 9K.

i got one of my r1's frmo mission motorsports... i know a couple of the sales people but for the majority i dont ahve anything good to say about the place in general. ive had bad luck with them on several occasions
Damn they are screwing you over BIG time. you do know that the 07 gsxr 600 is 9k and for the price you might be paying you could have get a brand new 750 those are list at 10.2 my buddy the idiot he is went in and didn't even haggle went out the door for 10.6 something. I would not get that RR if I were you. Plus they are raping you at 17% go through a credit union when i was paying for my car had very little credit and i got 7.5% ....they don't call them a stealership for nothing
