Default 91 si motor removal

Okay guys I searched but found only half an answer to my question... First off can the entire motor and tranny be pulled together or do I have to remove the tranny from the motor? Second what all must I disconnect or remove in order to remove the motor? (obviously the exhaust) I will be selling this d16 when I get it out I am going to be doing a motor swap if anyone would be interested in it and the tranny ... Im not allowed to post in the forsale forum yet or Id put it in there sorry guys. Any help is appriciated.. im going out to get a chiltons so hopefully ill get sum tips in there

Drain the coolant from the radiator and the block(there is a 19mm bolt behind the header), drain the oil. Then pull the radiator out. It is not hard to put back in and it frees up more space. Then Just disconnect( label if you are not fimilar with where things go) anything that is connect to the engine that would stop it from coming out.

EDIT: you might also have to take the hood off. I just pulled an engine out without taking it off but it was a really close fit. I would recomned you taking it off if you have never pulled an engine.

I have never left axels in the hubs when I have pulled them from the tranny. It is really easy to put the axles back in the hub anyway so I don't know why you wouldn't do it. If you unbolt the lower control arm you then might be able to leave the axle in the hub but it would not take much longer to pop the ball joints and take the axles out of the hub.
