ecu ????
my 88 crx is currently running a p06 ecu w/ minime no vtec so if i get a hold of a p28 ecu will it be plug and play(after i add couple of wires) or is there another ecu i can use beside p28?
no plug and play....
u need more stuff like obd1 injectors, a jumper harness (or u could rewire urself) and i think theres a few more things... i havent done it in a while. search for obd0 - obd1 conversion

Yes, the P06 is OBD1 so you won't need to change injectors etc. You will need to add the VTEC wires from the ECU to the actual sensors on the motor if they aren't there already.
You know, you can actually convert your P06 to run VTEC (ie. P06 to P28 Conversion)
