Need a quick upper control arm answer
I have a 92 hatch with a Ingalls camber kit in the front installed when I purchased the car.
Today I was replacing all of the ball joints/bushings and I noticed that the drivers side UCA is extremly hard to move up and down like it is binding hard.
Whereas the passanger side is floppy and loose, easy to move up and down.
I also noticed the passanger side has developed some play maybe .5mm left and right, but this is not present in the drivers side, I tightend the bolts (very tight to begin with) and this play did not go away.
The drivers side I loosend the bolts a bit and it become less binded.
Is there any way I can fix this, which way is normal, the stiff uca or the easy to move uca?
Need a quick answer so I can order the parts at honda before they close if needed.

The anchor bolts should be torqued to spec (difficult to do with so little clearance). The upper control arms will be pretty tough to move up and down by hand.
with the way the ingalls setup works the angle of the upper bolts (that run though the chassis) makes a HUGE difference. If you loosten them does it get better?
as far as being sloppy, check the bushings in the camber kit. Mine actually shifted a little sideways, but after resetting them and lubricating them they have stayed put.

I found that when I put this kit in my car both upper control arms where easy to move up and down even when torqued to spec. I didn't like the free play so I switch back to stock mounts with polly bushings and got skunk2 adj arms.
