where's the thread on the black boosted fa5 ... i wanted to ask the OP a question ...

there's a rumor around our area ... mine and his (we are from the same general area) that his car/motor blew up ... some say it was a combination of build + tune(apex-i neo) and others say it was a missed shift by the OP ...

i searched but couldn't find the thread ...

just wanted to know what really happenned and if it is indeed the truth that his motor blew ...

I would not be surprised if he blew the motor.

Regardless, I still have a hard time believing 343whp with 7psi of boost. Maybe if they were running NOS at the same time he would hit that. If they were not running NOS, I would like to know how they got that kind of power.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did'nt the AJC turbo push 10 to 12psi to get to 350whp?

I wager he blew a rod.

All just my opinion.

it's possible to get to the number with the apexi neo ... why? because the car leans out as boost increases ... leaning out = a rise in power to a certain extent so that's why the number is inflated ... so it's making power but under a lean condition ...

trust me ... i saw it myself when i had that crap on my car ... it was all good in the early stages but then the ecu starts to take over and sooner or later ur car runs like it doesn't have a neo and just does it's own thing ...
