Default Clutch Info

i have a stage one clutch master clutch with oem flywheel and i am in need of some feedback and info, is it going to hold a little over 300whp? or should i replace it if so what do you recommend ?

Clutches are rated in torque holding capacity, not horsepower. If you are planning on reaching 300whp with boost, then I would reccomend ditching that clutch in favor of something with greater clamping force. Personally, I run XTD (ebay) clutches in my cars and the ones I build. I have yet to have a problem with them even under boost. They are supposedly action clutches (according to the papers they come with) and they look identical. Pedal feel is very smooth and not too stiff.

thanks, what stage 3 or 4 ? i was also looking in the the TCS SIX PUCK CLUTCH they sell here on honda tech ? have you had any experience with them ?

Personally, I would recommend a stage 5 Comp clutch.

i think you should go with the clucth master twin disc. im broke so i go with ACT but people i talk to say they recommed the twin disc.

i know a guy who bought the comp one and it died on him ... so i dunno about that
i amnot trying to spend to much on a clutch , just looking for the best deal

are the xtd clutches sfi certified? i have been useing exeddy forever on evrything from my crx to mustangs, but, am looking for something cheaper to use when i swap trannys latter this year...
