if you're going turbo, check out the Forced Induction forum. I hate to be cliche, but plenty of people have built this motor combination up, so I think you should search around and see what you should do. There is no one way to build a motor, nor any way to describe it "ina nutshell".

And there is no such thing a V-tech in a Honda engine, that is a phone company. VTEC is Honda's variable valve timing .

Your search for LSVTEC returned 67 results. <--- Plenty of build threads floating around. Good luck.

LSVtec is an LS bottom end (b18a or b18b) mated to any b series Vtec head. There are a few modifications needed to make it work that can be found if searched. LSVtec's can be great motors, I've seen them make great power. There are some downfalls to them though. Don't throw a Vtec head on an LS bottom end and think you can rev to the moon because that will most likely end in a catastrophe due to the not so great rod to stroke ratio of an LS block. If you want to turbo an LSVtec and you're on a budget, I'd say get a decent LS bottom end and a clean Vtec head, get some ARP headstuds and a good headgasket, make sure you have something to tune it with, and some decent injectors. Golden Eagle makes a complete LSVtec conversion kit BTW.

I've been around since 02, just got out of the Honda scene for awhile and have been in the Army and been deployed so no time for Hondas. I forgot my old password and couldn't get it so I had to make a new name. No traps here
