Spoon shift knob question
I searched and only came up with one thread on the sppon shift ****.
When I put my **** on it was fine, but now it rattles when my motor is at 3k or more. This is really annoying and I don't know what to do.
I tried using teflon tape and adding padding on top of the shifter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as how to get rid of the rattling.

i've got a skunk2 **** with a b&m short shifter, once i reach above 5-6k my **** rattles like crazy too. I still have to check the bolts around the shifter itself and the linkage though, could be that.

I just installed a B&M short shifter and mine just started rattling too. It sucks, I think it is from the smaller red silicone o rings they supplied with the kit. They don't insulate the metal piece that goes through the bottom of the shift lever as good as the fatter black rubber ones and it must be making contact. I am going to get fatter o rings and try that. Overall I am not happy with the short shifter, it is harder to shift and really not much faster at all. Try to apply pressure to the stick when it is making the noise, it should stop. You will know that is your problem (linkage and not ****).
