Cluster problem in my 94 HB DX...
I replaced my 94 DX cluster with one that has a tach. My hatch is a 5speed, but the new cluster was a auto. I thought this wouldnt be a problem cuz i was just gonna just get indiglos or something. Well, I just installed the new cluster, but the tach is acting weird. It likes to sit at 0 RPM alot. When i start my car, its a 0 even though it should be at like 600 or so. Then when I start moving it jumps up, but when i shift, it goes back to 0, then jumps up again. Why is the tach loving the 0 RPM so much?? Anyone else experience this or know what might be wrong? Also, I wanna know will I need new LCAs if I get a ITR sway bar, or can i use the ones that came stock on my 94 DX hatch? Thanks
on the tach, i had the same problem with my spedometer, but all i did was tighten all of the screws on the cluster and checked the sensors. basically made sure everything was tight, and that fixed it
good luck
