Default tire size question

hey guys, im gonna be taking off my 17 inch wheels and replacing them with some 15s, only thing is i dont want to have 195/55/15 tires, i was wondering whats the widest tire i can put on these wheels, and who sells them, i would like to have the tires as wide as the one on my 17s if possible

i had 205/40/17..

The best tire size depends on the car you have. What kind of car (year, model, version)?

sorry i forgot to mention, its a 1996 integra gsr, and its lowered 1.8 inches

You can use 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 tires; stick with 15x6 or 15x6.5 wheels. As for wheels, there are lots of used stock wheels from GS-R's around, and lots of aftermarket wheels too.

Ive used 205/50/15 and that was the biggest and i think that worked best

As mentioned here, the two best tires sizes for you car are 195/55/15 or 250/50/15.
