wondering how well a set of gsr seats woul fit in an ek hatch?? they fit pretty well in my eg, is the bolt pattern the same in the 96-00 models?

 

Fronts? Swap the inner rail of both GSR seats with the EK rails.

2dr backrests with 4dr cushions

 

if u dont swap the inner rails u will have to drill a hole thru ur floor for the inner back screw and if u do that use a bolt at least thats what i did and it works just fine

 

Three of the moutns will bolt up. The inner mount onthe rear of the seat will not. I cut mine and welded on a piece then drilled the hole. It looks oem.

 

so i need the bottom cushion from a 4dr?

Yes, to minimize the gap from the cushion to the backrest, and the gaps on the sides.

 

For rear backrest, just removed leather from GSR rear backrest and replaced on EK hatch. Problem came when installing the bottom cushion as mentioned above. About 2inch gaps on both sides (also noticed a slight gap b/t back support and bottom cushion). I regret passing on a free 4dr bottom cushion...
