Default anybody done a obd2 swap for a crx

i have a p73 for my type r motor. people tell me that it is much harder to do a obd2 swap. Is that correct, and that i should do a obd1 swap instead so that it is much easier..like the p28 ecu.. whats the difference?

The difference is that people prefer obd1 due to how easy it is to reprogram the ecu to what ever kind of setup you have regardless of how stock or modified the engine is.

OBD0 - OBD2 is a big job. Just stick OBD1

there is no reason to go obd-2 unless you local/state emmissions require it.

should'nt it be the same..............

is the hard part hooking up the p73 ecu by the passenger side. or is it all the wire that runs threw the motor etc.

its not that going to obd2 is harder than obd1, its that fact that you would go from electronics that have some tuning ability (obd0) to almost no tuning ability (obd2)

obd1 is the way to go, get the conversion harness and a p28 w/ the correct maps for you motor. 10x the tuning ablility than obd0 or obd2
