so i am in a dilemma guys on what clutch to choose for my app. my ebay xtd clutch just began slipping at the track last friday so i am in the market for a new clutch. i have been looking into ordering an act xtreme pressure plate and either a street disc or a 6 puck disc. i have heard different things from different people, but mainly that the performance street disc that comes in the xtss clutch kit won't hold up at the track. i need something that is going to hold a 2nd gear burnout and not slip or fade on me during launches. the application is a turbo d series at around 220whp on slicks. any insight will be very helpful because i need to get something ordered asap!
LSD motorsport has clutches with longer waranty than ACT. I'm running their street disc with heavy duty pressure plate and damn does it grab for a street disc. Website shows it'll hold 300tq no problem. Give it a try

but do you have any experience with launching this clutch at the track with slicks? i have no doubt that the street disc will hold the power on the street but i also need something that will hold the power at the strip on slicks also.
question has been asked to death! search!!
ACT Xtreme is overkill for your power, and way to much
i reccomend Exedy stage2 its holding 320tq and 3rd gear burnouts no problem

i'm glad you think it has been over asked but i looked through every xtss thread on here. my question is not will it hold the power, i know it will on street tires. the question is will it hold up to launches at the track and 2nd gear burnouts. i'm going with act because i'm not staying at this power level for long.
the organic material is the only questionable part...
cerametallic will handle the burnouts etc. better because it can handle the heat for longer periods without an issue.
