Default JDogg's H2B 99 Civic Si

I bought this car w/o a motor from rmcdaniels last july and have been slowly working on it. its finally on the road...

First area to get my attention was the interior, its pretty gross. Roger did an exelent job keeping it this way

next step for the interior is to actually get all the trash out of it, pull the carpet and see if i can get it cleaned up along w/all the rest of the plastic in there, and to put the Jamex seats that were in my old civic in there.

for the exterior, got rid of the rota's... i just dont like black wheels on a black car, and they were 16's.. i cant afford 16 inch tires anyway

next is to take care of the hood, not sure what im going to do.. depends on how it fits w/the h2b in there.

*****more pics and stories*******

so the car is finally mostly done and driving. i have put about 100 miles on it and there is still a little work to be done, but its mostly there.

first the important part.. the motor. this is a 98 usdm h22 with the quartersports h2b kits, ITR tranny and a couple of boltons

this is the contraption i built with the assistance of danny and alex for a header

you can see the 2 pipes stop right before the gas tank in this pic

thats right... 4-2 with dual exhaust... its the loudest thing on EARTH

this is the custom alternator mount (in the stock location it hit hte frame rail)

now on to the rest of the interior

ctr cluster, thanks to dubbs

CTR carpet, thanks to some guy on honda-tech

and CTR doors as posted above

Now the whole car

The hood is gona go soon, just have to get time to go pick up the replacement

dyno friday and hopefully fabing up the rest of the exhaust w/a muffler in it soon

edit... updated with crappy cell phone pic on last page.. and it has an exhaust and semi proper header now.. new dyno's to come!

i had to lower the alternator b/c w/the h2b it hit the frame rail. i had to put the alternator where the a/c normally goes, only one bolt hole lines up, i had the bracket welded to it so it could have 2 bolts holding the alternator bracket on

Ok.... only reason I asked is because I have never had any luck welding to cast and having any strength whatsoever.

I think you should replace the Vtec stickers with ITR stickers, and get a light-up LED exhaust tip for it (but not hook it up - leave it open header).

Then you should ride around and beat up on domestics and H-T JDM-boi's.

That'll be a pretty sweet ride when you are done man.
