axel race stuck in trans, rest of axel removed any tips?

axel race stuck in trans, rest of axel removed any tips?
just as the title says my axel race is stuck in the trans i pryed off the rest of the driveshaft from the inner boot, but the races are still there, any tips on removing?

i dont have a camera, the outer race is the part where the end of the inner cv boot meets the cup/gear end of the axel.

What's with all these people and axles getting stuck? Just pry it out, dude. Worst case scenario is the snap-ring comes off and you have to get it with a pair of pliars. If you have the other axle out, try tapping on end of the race that's stuck through the hole int he transaxle. Use a long punch or something to clear the gear teeth and the bar in the middle.
