p28

Default p28

hey just replaced the old euro comp to a p28 tonite in my h22 civic everything seems to be alright except it idols real low about 200 do i just have to adjust the idol or would it be somehting else havent tryed anything yet due to rain

did you just stick a virgin p28 on an h22?
what kind of obd is your car wired for?
What managment are you using if any?

Possibly just sticking a stock D series ECU on a H series motor might be an issue, just a guess...

get the ecu chipped and tuned.

Then reinstall your stock ecu till you can afford a socket and tune.

alright i will but what will it hurt to keep it in there minus it idoling a bit low

One motor is a single over head cam 1.6 the other is a twin cam 2.2.

I can only see good coming out of it.


If you didn't catch my sarcasm, go back to the h22 ecu untill you can afford to have it done correctly.

Running an untuned p28 on a h22 is going to destroy the motor, and make less power.
