someone is selling a pair of these, slightly used for like 100 bucks. what do you think of the lights themselves and the price?

they look soso...what color is yer teg ?
save yer money - get HID's

 

my homeboy got some of those on his dc2. they look coo....they fit alright when we put em on. the one thing you gotta worry about is condensation. if you get em, but some silicone and seal the hell out of them before you install em in any place where you think water could get.

 

eh...there ok. its your car. if you like em get em.
I would get HIDs personally.

 

also have to worry about adjustment

 

Do your car a favor and don't hack the headlight wiring harness for the rings that will only work for the first 3 times you use them.


HID's FTW. How are those any different than the stockers? The light output is most likely gonna make you regret them.
The ones I had did.

 

i too question the output of the light. for $175 you could probably find a pair of oem in good condition or some hid's

 

they leak and have shitty *** light output, make yur own halos if you really want them

 

i would definatly go HID ......if not just buy the lights and pay $200-$300 more for hid conversion ballasts........its your money you do the math.

 

yea so heres one....i drive like an hour away to meet this kid from connecticut so i can buy those lights. i told him i would only pay seventy for them so i did and he gave me a free H & M strut bar too. they have some primer one them, green pain, scratches, but im not too displeased with it since i can take most of that off with some goof off or whatever. so i get back and i think to myself, hmmm the glass looks like its a different size. and yup they're for 94-97 tegras. so i call the kid and he gives me this story about hitting a dear or something and not wanting to talk to anyone. so im thinking im screwed. im just gonna get a replacement for my passenger side one. stock replacement. but i guess im just gonna throw away the other ones.

 

i have them on my teg and i personally hate them...the owner before me put them on

 

well i bought a stock right side one for 75 bucks. so thats not a bad deal. im going with that for now
