B16 water pump big problem!!! HELP!
i have a 89 civic si with a b16a, my problem is this wen i had my d16a6 i fucked up my water pump and the mechanic said it was because i would hit high rpm and now that i did my b16a swap i once fucked up my water pump im guessing cause i was hitting high rpm. Now my question is isnt their sumthing i can add to my engine or a special type of waterpump or sumthing that i can change so when i hit rpm that **** wont expletive up on me again

You said you had d16a and you fucked up the water pump, now you have B16A, How are these relate? D16a and B16A are completely 2 different engines using two different water pumps.
Anyway, B16, GSR and Type R using the same water pump 22 teeth, they made for high RPM so dont worry. When you swap the B16 you gotta have the water pump go with it which fixed the problem that the D16 had so the problem solved.

Iv been running a type r water pump in my boosted b16 an haven't had a signal problem but like he said the b16 gsr an type r are all the same an hold up fine under high rpms
