Default My Speedo Doesn't work on 94 integra type-r

Hello I just bought a 94 integra with a type-r swap done to it, and everything works but the speedo, Any help on how to fix this would be great. I've checked the cluster to make sure eveything was hooked up and it was so, Now i'm back there to ask all you how to fix it... I hope you can help.

I'll be honest with you I don't know much about this car, I've been a old raw muscle car for a long time. So I don't know if it was plugged in, Is it something easy to do?

And thanks for such a fast responce.

Right on the top - it's the only sensor that plugs into the gearbox.

Well I found it, and it was plugged in, I checked to see if it was in all the way and it was. Still didn't work.

So the next is to replace it I would guess. What do you all think?

check your grounds and your fuses?

Did the speedo work before you did the swap? The piece may be broken if it came with the swap and its a new cluster.

Also check the VSS again, unplug and look at the connectors on both the harness and VSS itself. I just replaced mine because it has corrosion on it. Check and see if you see any green color on any of the 3 prongs.

Other than that, could be a few things.

Oh sorry, I was under the assumption that this was the Type-R Integra forum... Not Type-R swapped car forum. Calm down a bit dude.

My buddies VSS wasnt working all the sudden on his car and it turned out to be the connector itself, looked a lot like Dave was describing. Spliced in a new connector and it seems to be ok.

<<<did not realize the speedo wouldnt work if the fluid is low??? I thought it was just a gear riding on another gear...
