Default Drove through puddle! HELP!

I went to bring my gf home the other night, and went through this puddle i dint think was so deep. It started to stall and finally shut off. Wouldnt start till about 15 min later. While its running it made a really loud knocking noise, thought i was throwing a rod through my block. ANyway i got it home, left it for the night then the next moring drianed the oil, new filter, new plugs. THought i sucked up some water throught the CAI. The oil wasnt white at all. When i took out 1 and 2 plugs they were drenched in oil. After putting all the new stuff on the car now wont start??? Whats up with that. So i thought maybe i got the distributor wet so i took the cap off and let it sit out wiht the plugs out to dry. Also took a hair dryer to it. STILL WONT START! What do you guys think? Also the distributor is HUMMING when the car key is in the on postion, dont know if thats normal, could it be the bearing. HELP please

You might of had a mild hydro-lock situation, and the knock is the result. You might have a bent rod. I would pull the oil pan, pickup and windage tray, and look up at the rods with a bright light. You usually can tell if a rod is bent simply by looking at it.

You just remove the plugs and turn the engine over, but since he already ran the engine, damage is done.

So let me get this right, If you were to suck water into your engine via CAI or w/e and the engine shuts off. All you have to do is remove the plugs and turn the engine to get the watter out ?

i bought new distributor cap, rotor, coil, and new plug wires and plugs. the car fired then either blew a rod through the block or seperated the block from the head. anyone want a gsr with hydro locked motor. 94 126k cai, cat back, dc header, volk te37

Yes, this will remove the water from the cylinders. Then change the oil in case any went past the rings into the oil pan. There is no guarantee that damage didn't occur, but if your lucky, and you didn't try to crank the engine while the water was in the cylinders, you might get away without any damage.
