Honestly, I dont know how effective the Spoon tie bar is. Consider it has hinges, and the mounting brackets are way thin. I'd assume the stock ITR tie bar does its job fairly well.

If I had to make a purchase, i'd get something solid like JIC or yes even Benen

hmm, i see your point... my upper strut tie bars have hinges also and they work fine... but i can see how a solid piece would probably work better... Thanks!

Why would it matter if its Blue? Its under your car and won't look so great after a bit of driving anyways.

If I remember correctly, the JIC Magic bar is very similar in construction to the Cusco; I think it is finished in a kinda dull gray (which may attract less attention).

That being said, Cusco blue hardly looks like a ricer add-on IMO.

Why do you think that? No one is going to see it unless they stick their head under your car. Its not like the rear bar where you can see it from another car or by looking at the car. To see the front one you have to actually kneel down and look under the front bumper.

In all honesty who cares what color it is as long as it works.

Ahh ok My bad for not clicking the above link, You are looking for a Rear Tie bar.

Since last I checked Cusco does Not have a Rear lower bar for the DC2 only for the EK. They do however have the Front Tie bar which is what I was talking about.

I would say just go with the Spoon piece for the rear.

Mike, I thought I saw a Cusco rear bar for the DC2 last time; I'll check when I go back to JDM Heaven in about 2 weeks

I assume you are saying that for type-r, the gain for changing the rear tie bar are minimum??

my spoon bar by itself did next to nothing. I tried to make myself believe it was making a difference.

Do you have your stock bar on and the spoon bar on at the same time? I seen a itr like that and it looked cool.

The stock bar was hidden behind the spoon bar. What do you think of two rear lower bars?
