took my kit apart and had some oil in the hot side IC piping.. couldnt figure out where it was coming from. The turbo is an IHI-RHB5

 

the oil is blowing past the seals in the turbo and passing into the compressor side where it is blown through your IC piping....more than likely the seals on your turbo are shot and it needs a rebuild...

Sometimes you will find it inside of your exhaust as well. Check for shaft play (in/out opposed to up/down).

 

Do you have any of your blowby feeding back into the intake side? That could be a source as well.

 

how big is your oil feed?

 

hey, i know from first hand, could be a few things i had the same problem.....could be too much oil goin into ur turbo, could be backin up the oil return line if u put too much oil into ur motor, this is what happened to me.....also could be ur seals, check for in/out shaft play....also could be if u have ur pcv ventilation system goin into ur pre turbo intake then it would spew out into the turbo and go into ur ic piping, this is the exact thing that happened to the kid that i bought my turbo from and the ic piping was full of oil. check these things and hope it helps, try ventilation ur pcv system better without goin into ur pre turbo intake tube and try a slightly lower amount of oil, u'll still get good pressure even with like 2quarts in the pan, trust me.....peace
