OK I HAVE THE CAR BACK! ...THIS FUCK3R NEVER DID ANYTHING ON MY EXCEPT DROP IT AT THE PAINT SHOP AND NEVER PICKED IT UP....HE RACED MY CAR BAD I EVEN FOUND A NOS BOTTLE....I STILL NEED TO FIND THIS FREAKING SCAMMER QUINTON S. JONES/HONDA & ACURA TECHNOLOGY TO CLAIM MY MONEY. HE OWNS ME A LOT OF MONEY...

WELL I'LL POST PICS WHEN I CAN...THANKS FOR YOUR HELP PEEPS...REMEMBER KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR THIS GUY...

heres the story<U>....this scammer called QUINTON S. JONES owner HONDA & ACURA TECHNOLOGY</U> promised me that he would paint and do other stuff with my car for this much. he promised the car will be done in 10 days, so i paid 1/2 of what i owe.
well! i called after 10 days...a bunhc of lame excuses..i emailed and called everyday until now and i never get a single reply from him. i want to take him to court but i'd have to hire a PI to dig into it more.
so please! keep a look out for my car...if you happen to spot it or know who this scammer is, let me know. i'd really appreciate it.

I'm confused....

was it stolen while at their shop?

did they just ditch everything, take your car and can't be found?

or

is it just taking more than 10 days(which is VERY common at a good/legit body shop...no matter what they tell you) and your pissed off?


please elaborate a little more as to what the deal is

really doesn't sound like you have too much of a complaint against them unless my 2nd question is what happened.

 

i dont get your situation..so the paint shop STOLE your car? something about being scammed?

 

Is there no receipt from the shop owner? Or anything showing proof of payment? Maybe something to prove your car was in his hands?

What excuses is he giving you? Isn't the shop still around? Why are you looking to take him to court when you can get him arrested for theft?

the shop where the car was taken is not there anymore. i gave this quinton foo my car to have it fixed up and what not. he was going to take it to have it painted and upgraded/repaired.

i do have proof of the money i gave him, reciepts and all else except i cannot locate the son of a bitch anymore. i have tried to contact him by all means and there is no answer, no reply. car was given to him on february 22, 2007 i believe. now look at the date?

i have already consulted with the police. they dont consider it stolen because i gave quinton the car to fix. the police will not recognize it stolen until we can prove he is not going to give us back my car. doesnt matter how long he has it...quintons intention was to fix the car, not keep it.

this is ******* lame. how can i take him to small clais if he is not found?? and also...the only thing like i said i can do is get a lawyer, get a private investigator, or locate the bitch myself.

so stressing and sad man...

from what it sounds like yea, it's not stolen .. you only paid 1/2 so maybe he kept ur car.. its not legally stolen

i have the money to pay him back...but after keeping my car for 2 months and not letting me know whats going on, should i still pay for it? shouldn't that fucktard pay for my sufferring? MONEY IS TIME, TIME IS GOLD?
